Volunteer with Us This Summer—Make a Difference at Every Event!

This summer, the Friends of the South Whatcom Library are bringing the joy of reading, music, and community connection to life—and we’re inviting you to be a part of it.

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of fun, free events, including:

• Postcard Writing to Support the Library Levy Lid Lift (July 9 and 12)

• Sign Waving to Support the Library Levy Lid Lift (July, 16, 23, 27, and 30)

• Whatcom Grooves Concert: Bilongo (July 19)

• Sudden Valley Fair (July 26)

• Summer Reading Celebration & Kids Craft Fair (August 23)

Whether you’re great at greeting guests, love setting up tables, or want to help with crafts or activities, your time and energy will help make each event more welcoming and meaningful for our community.
