Let’s dive into a summer full of stories, discovery, and fun! Join us at the South Whatcom Library as we kick off the 2025 Summer Reading program with a week of celebration, activities, and community connection.
🎉 On Kickoff Day, stop by for:

A popsicle puzzle activity station
A visit from the library lobster—find it for a frozen treat!
📚 All youth under 18 will receive a FREE book to keep, just for participating. It’s a perfect way to start the summer with something new to read and explore.
Throughout the week, you can:
Pick up your Summer Reading card
Learn about exciting upcoming programs
Connect with fellow readers of all ages
The Friends of the South Whatcom Library will be there to help and celebrate with you—because we believe every great summer starts with a great story.
